Lily is our 55 pound English Goldendoodle. She loves riding in her " bike trailer"! We have just over 100 miles on it and have had no issues. It is wide, roomy and sturdy, and folds down easily for transport. We did a lot of research and opted for a BooYah. We are happy to recommend this product.
I used my Booyah Stroller to carry my dog and camping gear in my walk across Michigan (335 miles) last fall. From the side of the road to walking up a rugged path my Stroller handled all terrain with ease. Tires make for nice grip on most surfaces and shocks made it a smooth ride for my pup. I really put this thing through the ringers and found it nearly indestructible. So much so I'll definitely be using it again this fall in my Walk across Michigan the other way (850 miles) and then my walk across America the following summer... My only complaint is I can't find a place to order a spare tire?
Great stroller. We have an older golden retriever that is blind. She still enjoys walks but can’t go very long. When she gets tired she hopes right in. We also have an older King Charles cavalier and he jumps in with her. They both fit well although I’m sure we are over the weight limit. Only draw back is we lost a brake post and they are sold out on the web site. I did email them and got a quick response but the response was you can purchase them off their web site.
Our 16-year-old heeler mix, Buddy, has always been a strong and athletic marvel - running, chasing, fetching, leaping, swimming, hiking. But over the years, arthritis, a torn ACL and surgery, a disc injury in his back, and just plain older age began to slow him down. At some point in his 15th year, his hind end simply refused to enable him to take a walk anymore. We noticed he seemed a bit melancholy when we left the house for a walk, especially if we took the younger dog with us. We knew it was important to keep him stimulated and engaged as he grew older and also give him a sense of inclusion, like when he was younger and we all walked together. So, we found Booyah and purchased a large dog stroller. It has enabled us to take Buddy on walks again, not just on the neighborhood sidewalks but also into the parks, forests, by the river, over rocks and gravel, through bushy paths and up and down hills and dips. He barks exuberantly when we pull the Booyah out and he sees he is going for a ride. He barks even more as we roll him down the street and he sniffs the air, takes in the view, and woofs at other dogs who pass us on their walks. I sometimes pull the stroller up to a bush or tree so he can smell the calling cards of dogs who came before. Just trying to give him a bit of normality and stimulation in his later years, and I truly believe Booyah has given us that ability.
I absolutely love this stroller but broke the handle attachment the first time I used it. Have to order a new one hopefully it won't be too expensive.
